Screenshot Resizer

Your images are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded to any server.

4K and retina screenshots are enormous in every sense: too wide for documentation columns, too heavy for tickets, too big for slides. Resize them by exact pixels or percentage with the aspect ratio locked, in batches, without uploading anything.

How to use the screenshot resizer

  1. Add your screenshots (batch supported).
  2. Enter the target width or a scale percentage; the aspect ratio stays locked.
  3. Resize and check each result's new dimensions.
  4. Download individually or as one ZIP.

Frequently asked questions

What size do documentation and tickets need?

Documentation tools typically display images 800–1200px wide; ticket systems often cap around 2000px. A retina screenshot at 2880px wide resized to 1200px keeps text readable and cuts file size by roughly 80%.

Will resizing make the text blurry?

Downscaling keeps text legible at the new size; it cannot stay sharper than the pixels it now occupies. For crisp documentation, resize to roughly 2× the display size (retina rule) and let the page scale it down.
