Frequently asked questions
How do I crop to 16:9?
Pick the 16:9 preset and the tool computes the largest 16:9 rectangle that fits, which you can then adjust with the pixel inputs. Use it to trim a tall capture down to a clean widescreen frame for slides or video thumbnails.
Does cropping remove sensitive parts of the screen?
It removes them from the output, yes. But cropped-away pixels are gone entirely, which is what you want: no hidden data survives in the file. For regions you want obscured but visible, use blur or pixelate instead.
