One render pass, one quality loss, done
Chaining edits is how quality quietly dies: each re-save re-encodes the image, and artifacts accumulate. Doing rotation and flip together here means exactly one re-encode at your quality setting, no matter how the two transforms are combined. For archival work, use PNG output. It is pixel-exact and immune to generation loss entirely.

Frequently asked questions
Does combining rotate and flip cost extra quality?
No. Both transforms are exact pixel rearrangements computed together, and the image is encoded once at your quality setting. One combined pass is strictly better than rotating, saving, flipping, and saving again, which would re-encode twice.
What does “flip both ways” do?
Mirroring horizontally and vertically together equals a 180° rotation. The tool applies that simplification automatically, so the math stays exact regardless of how you combine the options.
Can I use this on a whole folder of scans?
Yes. Add up to 30 files, set the rotation and flip once, and every file gets the same treatment, downloaded as one ZIP. For mixed-orientation folders, group the files by orientation and run one pass per group.
Which formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF (first frame), BMP, TIFF and HEIC as input; JPG, PNG or WebP as output. HEIC input is handy: the orientation fix and the format conversion happen in the same step.
