This tool has no quality or format selector; downloaded filenames use the original name plus "-resized", not the preset dimensions, so rename saved versions to keep them distinct.

One square, every network
Many platforms display avatars through a circular or rounded mask. Crop to fill makes a square by trimming excess image area, not by stretching your photo. Apply the preset, then use the hand tool to centre your subject. If keeping the full composition matters more than filling the square, choose Fit inside before applying.
Keep important features away from the corners when preparing a circular avatar. The 320–800px presets are useful starting sizes, but check the destination requirements and preview the actual display. Downscaling removes source detail even if the smaller avatar looks good, so retain the original photo for future versions.

Why are the profile picture presets square?
