Which output format should I pick for a batch of photos?
JPG is the safe default: everything opens it and the size is predictable. WebP is the better choice when the images are destined for the web, typically 25–35% smaller. PNG only when you need lossless, and accept that files will be much larger.
Do all photos in the batch keep their original names?
Yes, with just the extension changed: IMG_0001.heic becomes IMG_0001.jpg. The ZIP preserves every name, so nothing needs renaming after download.
