Logo Background Remover
A logo with a white box around it looks broken the moment it lands on a colored header or a dark footer. This tool removes the background from logo images (raster logos, scanned letterheads, exported designs) and returns a transparent PNG you can use anywhere.
Processing…
Your image stays on your device, nothing is uploaded.
Transparent areas show the checkerboard — they are see-through in the PNG. Zoom with the buttons or Ctrl + scroll; drag with Space held (or the middle button) to pan.
Because logos are usually high-contrast graphics, the automatic cutout is clean and fast. Your files are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded.
From flat logo image to reusable asset
The best long-term home for a logo is a vector (SVG), but most logos in the wild are JPG or PNG exports stuck on solid backgrounds. A transparent PNG cutout is the fastest way to make those files usable again: in presentations, video overlays, email signatures, and website headers.
For crisp results, start with the largest logo image you have. The cutout preserves the original resolution, so a 2000px source gives a much better result than a 200px thumbnail.

Frequently asked questions
Can it remove white backgrounds from logos?
Yes. A logo on a flat white or solid-color background is the easiest case, because the logo shape contrasts sharply with the background.
Does this vectorize my logo?
No. The output is a raster transparent PNG at the original resolution, not an SVG. If you need a true vector version, a transparent PNG is still a useful intermediate asset.
What about logos with gradients or soft edges?
Gradients inside the logo shape are kept; the tool separates the logo from its background. Very soft glows that fade into the background may lose some of the faintest pixels.
Is my logo kept private?
Yes. Logos are often confidential brand work. The file is processed entirely in your browser and never uploaded to any server.
Why PNG and not JPG for logos?
JPG does not support transparency. Saving a cutout as JPG would fill the background with a solid color. PNG keeps the background genuinely transparent and avoids JPG compression artifacts on sharp logo edges.
